Dating from around 1860, this chest was originally custom-made in Gujarat State, India, and features robust iron and brass fittings for strength and security. The original turquoise blue paint, now gently worn, gives it a unique “shabby chic” patina that celebrates its Victorian-era origins.

Traditionally used to store family valuables such as textiles, jewellery, and dowries, this chest is both a practical storage solution and a stunning centrepiece.
